Surface sizing agent LKB 4412

This product is a styrene-acrylate polymer, which can impart excellent water resistance to paper, while also improving ink absorption and surface strength to some extent. It is suitable for surface treatment of paper types such as kraft linerboard, high-strength corrugated paper, and white paper.

Basic physical properties:

◆ Appearance: light yellow to amber liquid

◆ Solid content: 30.0±1.0%

◆ Viscosity: ≤100 mPa·s

◆ pH value: 1.5-4.5

◆ Ionicity: Cation

◆ Dispersibility: easily dispersible in water

Product features:

◆ The aging speed is fast.

◆ Low foaming property.

◆ It has a certain degree of improvement on the surface strength of paper.

◆ It has good compatibility with other raw materials.

◆ It can completely replace internal sizing and purify the wet end system.

Usage:

◆ The general addition amount per ton of paper is 0.5-5.0 kilograms.

◆ When used in combination with surface sizing starch, adding an appropriate amount of aluminum sulfate is beneficial for curing and improving the effect. The temperature of the sizing starch solution should be controlled at 50-80℃ when applying it to the machine.

◆ Do not mix with strong anionic substances.

Storage and packaging:

◆ Plastic drum packaging: net weight 200kg/drum, 1000kg/drum.

◆ Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, with a storage temperature range of 5-35℃.

◆ The shelf life is 6 months.
